Terms of Use
Last reviewed 14 October 2026
These terms cover the use of the website at mirelac.com. They are separate from the terms of a stay, which are agreed with reception when a room is arranged. By reading these pages you accept what follows.
Adults only
This site describes a hotel in France that has a gaming room on its ground floor. The legal age for that room is 18 and the website is written for the same audience. A panel on the home page asks you to confirm your age before you go further. Confirming falsely gives no right to enter the room. Identification is checked at the door, by a person, on every visit, and nothing stored in your browser affects that.
No gambling is offered on this website
Nothing on mirelac.com is a game, a wager or a financial transaction. The site has no play-for-fun mode, demonstration game, deposit, withdrawal, balance, account or payment facility. Every activity described here happens in person, on the premises in Annecy, in front of staff. Any site that uses our name or our photographs to offer play online is unconnected with us, and we would like to hear about it.
Accuracy, and the absence of an offer
We prepare these pages with care and review them on the date shown at the top. Even so, hours change, a room is redecorated, a kitchen closes for a fortnight and the lake freezes the jetty shut. Nothing here is a contractual promise, a quotation or an offer capable of acceptance. Reception confirms availability, terms and the details of a stay in writing before you travel. The site deliberately carries no prices.
Intellectual property
The text, the layout, the stylesheet, the script and the drawn mark belong to the company that runs the hotel. You may read the pages, print them and link to them, but you may not republish the text as your own, copy the design for another business, or use the hotel's name to suggest a connection that does not exist. The photographs are treated separately: each was published under a CC0 or public-domain dedication, and those terms govern their use.
Links out
This site links only to its own pages. If a link to another site is ever added, it is there for convenience only. we do not control what is on the other end, we do not check it continuously, and we take no responsibility for it.
Conduct on the property
The hotel is a private house run as a business. Management may refuse entry or ask a person to leave without giving reasons, in particular where someone is abusive to staff or to other guests, is intoxicated to the point of being a nuisance, cannot produce photo identification at the door of the east wing, is under 18 and attempting to enter it, or is photographing people without their agreement. Photography is not permitted in the gaming room at any time.
Availability of the site
We do not promise that these pages are reachable at every moment. They are static files on a server maintained by somebody else, and when an outage or maintenance stops a page loading we do not accept a claim for loss arising from it.
Liability
Within the limits French law permits, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website, from reliance on information published here, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing here affects the rights a consumer has under French law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes arising from this website fall to the competent courts of France, and the hotel's local jurisdiction is Annecy, Haute-Savoie. A consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union keeps the protection of the mandatory rules of their own country.
Changes
These terms may be revised. The review date at the top changes when they are, and the version published at the moment you read the site is the version that applies.
